The 6th MWFC will take place in León, Guanajuato, Mexico. The city of León is one of the most important cities in the country and the first in the state of Guanajuato.
León is known as the world capital of footwear due to the industrial development of leather and its derivatives. Its industrial and technological development turns it into a metropolis with an excellent quality of life, a fascinating culture, delicious gastronomy, and many recreational places, such as the metropolitan park, the Sierra de Lobos, etc. Another of León’s attractions is its International Balloon Fair, which occurs in November each year.
In León, the Science Division will host the 6th MWFC, which will have a hybrid format (In-person and virtual). The meeting will take place in the Auditorium of Building G of the Division of Sciences and Engineering, Campus León at the University of Guanajuato, in the city of León, Guanajuato, from October 9 to 11, 2024.
